Galloping Horses Paintings by Xu Beihong

Xu Beihong (1895-1953) was a native of Yixing, Jiangsu Province. He created thousands of excellent traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings and sketches during his life. THe set of 10 stamps and a souvenir sheet "Galloping Horses" was issued on 5th May 1978
